My Disturbing Dreams radio show for audiointerface.org hit #5 in the Mixcloud Dark Ambient global chart. That was nice.
An alternative Halloween mix for people who are not keen on The Monster Mash. The music I’ve chosen is in parts dark and scary, it’s also quite beautiful. I hope you enjoy it.
I made this mix to listen to while walking the dark streets of Derby on spooky Autumnal evenings. I’m not doing anything untoward, probably just going to the chip shop. Anyway, it makes the whole thing a bit more atmospheric. Expect creepy cellos, eerie electronics and beastly beats.
These ten tracks chart the progress of Autumn from Leaves falling in the September Sun to Night Fall on Halloween through to Raindrops and Stargazing in November. The mix starts quiet and ambient and gradually builds in intensity before coming back down to rest. The feeling of walking city streets on a blustery Autumn day as the sun goes down.
